Product Description
This SATA 7P SMT female PCB connector is designed for high-speed serial data transmission between HDD/SSD devices and host boards. With a standard 7-pin layout and 1.27 mm pitch, it supports SATA I/II/III data rates and provides a stable, low-loss electrical path for differential signal pairs.
Gold-plated terminals over nickel ensure low contact resistance and long-term corrosion resistance, while the high-temperature thermoplastic housing meets UL94V-0 flame-retardant requirements for reliable performance in dense electronic systems. The right-angle SMT structure is suitable for edge-mounting on compact PCBs, saving vertical space and simplifying automatic reflow soldering processes.
This connector can be customized with different gold thicknesses, tape-and-reel or tray packaging, and complete cable or harness assemblies to match specific server, storage or industrial designs.

Precautions
Recommended for high-speed differential signal lines only; avoid using as a power connector beyond rated current and voltage.
Ensure PCB pad layout and solder mask follow the manufacturer’s footprint to maintain impedance control and solder reliability.
Keep connectors free from dust, flux residue or mechanical damage before reflow; contamination may increase contact resistance.
Observe the specified reflow temperature profile for the thermoplastic housing to prevent deformation.
Do not exceed the rated mating cycles; excessive plugging can wear the gold plating and degrade signal integrity.
For applications in harsh vibration or temperature environments, combine with secure mechanical retention or housing to prevent micro-movement.
