Application range of S50C Carbon Steel Materials
JIS S50C grade carbon steel is widely used in supporting structure of machinery manufacturing, good mechanical properties of this steel.
S50C carbon steel are generally use to make supporting mechanical parts, such as: spring, gear, tension bar, the roller, the axis, the load spindle and so on.
1. Features
a, High-quality medium carbon steel,uniform characteristics of the microstructure.
b, Carbon content (mass fraction,%) ≥ 0.4, good wear resistance,ductility reduction.
c, Tempering must be quenched to avoid the occurrence of temper brittleness.
d, Tempering HRC19-22

6. Heat Treatment
JIS S50C Steel materials could be hardened by water quenching at 810-860 degree, and tempered by rapid quenching 550-650 degree
