1.2083 Annealed Special Tool Steel Corrosion-resistant Flat Bar

 

 

1.2083 special tool steel containing up to 13% chromium. It has good polishing and excellent wear resistance, commonly used in anti-acid plastic mold.

5. Usage

 

1.2083 special tool steel suitable for electric erosion operation, suitable for acidic plastic and require good polishing mold.

 

Mainly used in the production of PVC molds, wear resistance and filler molds, including hot and hard plastic molds, long-life molds, such as: one-time tableware molds, optical products such as parts, such as cameras and sunglasses, medical containers, etc. 

 

 

6. Delivery status

 

Delivery Status: Steel is delivered in an annealed condition.

 

Forging: oil quenching die steel has some crack sensitivity, forging heating should not be quickly heated, it is best to preheat 650-750 degrees, forging heating temperature of 1130-1150 degrees, the final forging temperature should be greater than 800-850 Degrees, the maximum ingot forging temperature. Billet forging when the lower limit temperature

 

Annealing: General annealing using 780-800 degrees, holding 4-6 hours to ≤ 50 degrees / hour, cooled to 550 degrees baked air, isothermal annealing 700-800 degrees 2-4 insulation sales, and then 670-720 degrees insulation, to maintain 2-4 hours, cool to ≤50 degrees / hour cooling to 500 degrees baked air cooling, annealing hardness of 241-197HB

Heat treatment specifications: Quenching, 1050 ~ 1100 ℃ oil-cooled
Tempering, 200 ~ 300 ℃ fast cooling.
