Hot Rolled Alloy Tool Steel 1.7035 / SAE5140 / SCr440 steel is one of the most widely used steel in the machinery industry.It has good comprehensive mechanical properties, good low temperature impact toughness and low notch sensitivity.

♦ Feature:
Hot Rolled Alloy Tool Steel 1.7035 / SAE5140 / SCr440 steel is belong to Medium carbon steel with hardening and tempering, cold heading steel. Easy processing, after proper heat treament can obtain a certain toughness, plasticity and abrasion resistance.

♦ Applications:
After hardneing & tempering, applied to use in the manufacture withstand load and moderate speeds mechancial parts, such as automotive steering knuchles, and rear axle gears, shafts, worm, spline shaft, sets and other tools on top.
After quenching and tempering heat, it is used to manufacture parts that are working in high load, impact and medium speed, such as gear, main shaft, oil pump rotor, sliding block, ring, etc.
In addition, this type of steel is suitable for the manufacture of all kinds of transmission parts, such as large diameter and low temperature toughness.
