Introduction:
GCr15 is a high-carbon chromium bearing steel with low alloy content, which has high hardness, uniform structure, good wear resistance and high contact fatigue property after quenching and tempering.

Features:
Grade EN31 / SAE52100 belongs to a kind of high carbon chromium bearing steel which most widely used width a good performance and less alloy content.
High hardnability and good comprehensive performance. Good machinability after spheroidizing annealing.
High hardness, uniformorganization, good wear-resistance, high contacr fatigue performance after quenching and tempering. And good hot working performance.

Applications:
For making all kinds of bearing ring and rolling element. For example: steel ball roller and ferrule of internal combuxtion engine, electric motorcycle, automonilrd, tractors, machine tools, rolling mill, boring machine, mining machinery, general machinery, high load and high speed roating mechancial transmission bearing. Except ball bearing and bearing ring, sometimes also used to make tools, such as pumching die, measuring tool.
Delivery condition:
Hot rolled or forged, black surface.
Hardenss: annealed to 207-229HB.
GCr15 is one of the most commonly used high-carbon chromium bearing steel with high hardenability and high uniform hardness after heat treatment.High wear resistance is better than that of GCr9, contact fatigue strength, good dimensional stability and resistance to corrosion, cold deformation and plastic medium, machinability, poor weldability, sensitive to white dot formation, the first kind of temper brittleness.
