Introduction
42CrMo steel is an ultra-high strength steel with high strength and toughness, good hardenability, no obvious temper brittleness, high fatigue limit and multiple impact resistance after quenching and tempering, and good low temperature impact toughness.

Features
1) Weldability suffers with increasing chromium content;
2) High temperature strength and high pressure hydrogenation properties are promoted by chromium and molybdenum;

Applications
1) Suitable for manufacturing requirment a certain strength and toughness of large and medium-sized plastic mold, such as locomotive traction with the big gear, the supercharger drive gear, pressure vessle, rear axle, gear load connecting rod and a spring clip
2) Used to under 2000m deep well of oil drill pipe joint and the fishing tool
3)Used for bending machine mould
