Description

Tee is a pipe fitting and pipe connector, which is mainly used at the branch pipe of the main pipe. Tee is a kind of chemical pipe fitting with three openings, i.e. one inlet and two outlets, or two inlets and one outlet. The three-way pipe has T-shaped and Y-shaped, equal diameter pipe orifice and reducer pipe orifice, which are used for the confluence of three identical or different pipes. Tee can be divided into metal material and non-metal material according to material. There are carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, etc. The screw thread tee is produced according to the standard of Maanshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. and the national standard is GB / 12459-2005. The non-metallic materials are PVC, UPVC, PPR, etc. According to the connection mode, it can be divided into two types: snap type and threaded connection. According to the shape, it can be divided into T-type and herringbone type. The hydraulic bulging of tee is a forming process of expanding branch pipe by axial compensation of metal material.

The hydraulic bulging process can be formed in one time with high production efficiency; the wall thickness of the main pipe and shoulder of the tee is increased. Due to the large tonnage of equipment required for seamless tee process, it is mainly used for the manufacture of standard wall thickness tee less than dn400. The metal of hot pressed tee branch pipe is compensated by the radial movement of tube blank, so it is also called radial compensation process. Due to the use of heating and pressing tee, the tonnage of equipment required for material forming is reduced. Hot pressed tee has wide adaptability to materials, which is suitable for low-carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel; especially for large-diameter and thick pipe wall tee, this forming process is usually adopted.
