Description

Tee is a kind of pipe fitting with one inlet and two outlets; or two inlets and one outlet, which can be divided into T shape and Y shape, and can also be divided into equal diameter tee and reduced diameter tee, which is used for the convergence of three same or different pipelines. Tee is mainly used to change the direction of the fluid pipe connector. Reducing tee is a section of main pipe plus a small branch pipe. Obviously, two big sizes are main pipes, and the small size in the middle is branch pipe. Reducing tee is a kind of tee, which is used at branch pipe of main pipeline. In industry, the pressure requirement of reducing tee pipe is higher, the maximum pressure can reach 600 kg, and the pressure of water pipe in life is lower, generally 16 kg. Reducing tee is generally not used in pure oxygen pipeline. This kind of pipeline generally has pressure, and the oxygen activity is greater at this time. For example, if the reducing tee is used, as long as the sundries in the pipeline move with the oxygen air flow, the change of the pipe diameter and the change of the flow rate may cause the collision between the sundries and the pipe to produce the fire source or the electrostatic discharge due to the change of the flow rate, it may cause the fire and explosion of the pure oxygen pipe.

Butt welding reducing tee is a steel hot pressed or forged elbow. Its connection form is directly butt welding the tee and steel pipe. The production process of reducing tee includes hydraulic bulging and hot press bulging. Hydraulic bulging is a forming process of expanding branch pipe by axial compensation of metal material. This production method can be formed in one time with high production efficiency. However, due to the large tonnage of equipment required by the process, it is currently mainly used in the manufacture of standard wall thickness tee less than dn400 in China. Hot forming is that the tube blank is compressed radially under the action of pressure. In the process of radial compression, the metal flows towards the branch pipe and forms the branch pipe under the stretch of the die.
