Description
Flat welding flange is a part that connects pipes to each other and connects to the pipe end. It is also used for the connection between two equipment, such as reducer flange. Flange connection refers to the detachable connection of flange, gasket and bolt as a group of combined sealing structure.
Flat welding flange is suitable for connection of steel pipe with nominal pressure not exceeding 2.5MPa. The sealing surface of flange can be made into lubrication type, concave convex type and tenon groove type. The use of lubricating flange is the largest, and it is mostly used in the case of relatively gentle medium conditions, such as low-pressure non purified compressed air and low-pressure circulating water.

Flat welding flange has low neck height and high rigidity and bearing capacity. Compared with the butt welding flange, the welding workload is large, the welding rod consumption is high, and it can not withstand high temperature and high pressure, repeated twists and turns and temperature fluctuation. However, the field device is more convenient, which can save the process of welding seam rubbing damage and is more popular.
