Description

Welding elbow is to be shaped in hot state after processing. Because some elbows will be twisted if they are not handled properly, which is not allowed. In addition, after pushing the head, the outer diameter of the front end is generally large, which needs to be shaped by the shaping die.

Welding elbow shaping die is actually a press, there should be a set of die, two semicircles, one up and one down. The outer diameter after shaping meets the size requirements of the finished product. The wall thickness is controlled according to the material wall thickness. The wall thickness tolerance of elbow and pipe is the same, which is ± 12.5%. In the process of pushing, the wall thickness should not change under normal circumstances, but if the wall will be reduced due to tool reasons, some allowance should be added to the wall thickness when generally lifting. For example, when the elbow is 8.18mm in wall thickness, the pipe of about 8.5mm is generally lifted to prevent over tolerance due to local thickness reduction during pushing.
