Description
Hot pressed tee, the metal of its branch pipe is compensated by the radial movement of tube blank, so it is also called radial compensation process. Because the tee is pressed after heating, the tonnage of equipment required for material forming is reduced. The hot pressing tee has wide adaptability to materials, which is suitable for low carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel; especially for the tee with large diameter and thick pipe wall, this forming process is usually used.

Hot pressed tee is its corrosion depends on chromium, but because chromium is one of the components of steel, so the protection method is not the same. This kind of closely adhered chromium rich oxide can protect the surface of tee from further oxidation. This kind of oxide layer is very thin, through which we can see the natural luster of the surface of the tee, which makes the carbon steel tee have a unique surface. Moreover, if the surface layer is damaged, the exposed steel surface will react with the atmosphere for self repair, and the oxide "passive film" will be formed again to continue to play a protective role.
