Description
Carbon steel flange is a flange containing carbon steel material. According to the content of various trace elements, it can be divided into A105 material, Q235 material, 16Mn material, 20# material, etc. Since carbon steel flanges do not have anti-corrosion function, the main anti-corrosion treatment includes oiling, painting and galvanizing.
Carbon steel flange has good mechanical properties in flange products. Its raw material is usually billet, which will be heated after cutting. After heating, it is put into the mold and beaten continuously to remove segregation, porosity and internal air defects of the blank. Therefore, forged flanges have better pressure and temperature resistance, and are usually suitable for high temperature and high pressure environments.

Characteristic
Carbon steel flange is a polygonal ring shell with polygonal cross section or polygonal sector shell with closed ends. When the interior is filled with pressure medium, internal pressure is applied. Under the action of internal pressure, the cross section gradually changes from polygon to circle and finally becomes a circular ring shell. A circular ring shell can make different carbon steel flanges according to requirements.
