Descripation:
In order to meet the needs of on-site rapid and real-time detection such as epidemic prevention and control, entry-exit rapid screening, food safety, environmental microorganism identification and small flux scientific research and teaching, Foregene launched an ultra-fast and portable fluorescence quantitative PCR instrument ForeQuant SF.
The system adopts innovative liquid circulation refrigeration combined with Peltier temperature control technology, simple operation software, light and small fuselage, which can be free from the constraints of the site, and can accomplish the quantitative PCR related applications quickly and accurately. The system supports the application of all common real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR detection modes, including
qualitative detection, relative quantification, absolute quantification, genotyping, etc.
The system provides two or four conventional fluorescence excitation and detection channels, which are compatible with most fluorescent dyes / probes, and can easily realize multiple or multicolor PCR applications. Combined with a variety of fluorescent quantitative PCR reagents on the market, ForeQuant SF Quantitative PCR system has been applied in many fields of basic medical and biological research, such as early clinical diagnosis of diseases, detection of pathogens, detection of tumor related genes and drug-resistant genes, evaluation of therapeutic effect at the molecular level of rational drug use, research on disease incidence monitoring, research on gene expression level in tissues or cells, detection
of transgenic animals and plants, food safety, etc.

Thermal cover:
In the process of PCR reaction, the temperature in the reaction tube varies greatly from 30℃ to 95℃. Under the condition of the high temperature reaction liquid will evaporate, through thermal cover for tube cover parts around 110℃ high temperature, ensure that the reaction tube top temperature is always greater than the temperature of the fluid, due to high temperature and pressure is bigger than the low temperature,
the liquid will not upward evaporate, to avoid reaction liquid evaporation losses or incomplete response.
ForeQuant SF uses a manual thermal cover, which is closed after the sample tube is placed. The instrument can ensure that the pressure of the heat cover is constant when the reaction tube of different height is used.
