【Procedure Overview】

         Nitrite in the sample will react to reagent I with the help of Reagent II. The solution will show varying degrees of purplish. The concentration is proportional to the color. You can read the concentration from Color card.

【Test Protocol】

Water/Milk:

• Take 1ml of the sample to the test tube, add 1ml of reagent I , mix well and shake well.
• Add 0.5 ml of reagent II to the test tube, mix well and shake for 10 s. After standing for 3 minutes, observe the color depth in the test tube and compare the results of the Color card.

【Interpretation of Results】

By comparing the color of the tube liquid with the standard Color card, the nitrite content in the sample can be determined by multiplying the dilution factor by the same or the closest color density.
