             Aflatoxin B1 Strip Test is a qualitative and rapid lateral flow assay designed to detect Aflatoxin B1 residues in feed ,Oil sample. This test is designed for field use or reference lab settings. The unique features of the kit are:

Procedure Overview

The assay uses a competitive colloidal gold based format. The sample is added to the test well to allow the Aflatoxin B1 binding protein on the gold particles to engage with any Aflatoxin B1 antibiotic present in the sample. Any gold particles that are not complexed with antibiotics present in the sample will bind to the Aflatoxin B1 antibiotic imprinted at the Test line (T-line), forming a signal (red line) at that position. If the Aflatoxin B1 binding protein on the gold particle has engaged with antibiotic present in the sample sample, the gold particle will flow past the T-line and reach the Control line (C-line).

Kit Contents, Storage and Shelf Life

The  Aflatoxin B1 Strip test has the capacity for 50 determinations. The shelf life is 12 months when the kit is properly stored.

70%methanol:The volume of methanol : distilled water is7:3

Sample preparation

Feed

1. Grind and mix a representative sample(according to accepted sample techniques)

2. Weight out 2 g of the ground sample and place into a suitable container.

3. According to the requirements of the different detection limit again according to the following table in Sample Extraction Buffer .

4. Centrifuger the sample for 5 minutes at 4000 rpm

5. .Take 100uL of the supernatant to a new tube and add 150uL of distilled water, shake for 1 minutes with a vortex.
