Deoxynivalenol Strip Test is a qualitative and rapid lateral flow assay designed to detect Deoxynivalenol residues in feed sample. This test is designed for field use or reference lab settings. The unique features of the kit are:

Procedure Overview
The assay uses a competitive colloidal gold based format. The sample is added to the test well to allow the Deoxynivalenol binding protein on the gold particles to engage with any Deoxynivalenol antibiotic present in the sample. Any gold particles that are not complexed with antibiotics present in the sample will bind to the Deoxynivalenol antibiotic imprinted at the Test line (T-line), forming a signal (red line) at that position. If the Deoxynivalenol binding protein on the gold particle has engaged with antibiotic present in the sample sample, the gold particle will flow past the T-line and reach the Control line (C-line).

The Deoxynivalenol Strip test has the capacity for 48determinations. The shelf life is 12 months when the kit is properly stored.

Sample preparation
Feed(500)
1. Grind and mix a representative sample(according to accepted sample techniques)
2. Weight out 1 g of the ground sample and place into a suitable container.
3. Add 10mL Distilled water (according to accepted Dilution factor ) and shake for 5 minutes with a vortex,Centrifuger sample for 10 minutes at 4000 rpm.
4. Get 60ul the Subnatant for testing.
