       Casein Strip Test kit is a rapid lateral flow assay designed to detect cow casein residues in raw goat’s milk at 0.5%. Can distinguish the goat’smilk is adulterate or not .This immunochromatographic assay eliminates the need for a heating block. This test is designed for field use or reference lab settings.The unique features of the kit are:

Procedure Overview

The milk protein in the sample liquid is combined with the specific monoclonal colloidal gold-antibody in the flow process, which inhibits the antibody binding to the milk protein on the NC film detection line (T).Signal at T-line indicates the milk sample is negative . When T-line is not showed, is positive.

The Casein Strip test kit has the capacity for 96 determinations. The shelf life is 12 months when the kit is properly stored. T

Sample preparation

1. liquid milk: diluted distilled water. For example, take the 0.1g sample, add 10mL distilled water.

2. milk powder: diluted distilled water. For example, take the 0.1g sample, add 10mL distilled water.

Testing Protocol

1. Shake the milk vigorously, aliquot sample into a small polypropylene tube (1.5 mL – 15 mL), and allow milk sample and test pad to reach ambient temperature

Interpretation of results: Signal at T-line indicates the milk sample is negative . When T-line is not showed, is positive. See Figure 1 for representative results.
