Capsaicin Assay ELISA Test Kit provides a competitive enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative analysis of Capsaicin Assay in detection of cooking oil, animal and vegetable oils.Up to 96 tests or assaying about 42 samples in duplicate( assuming 12 wells for standards).

Sample extract
Weigh 8g of NaOH, add 200mL of deionized water to dissolve and set aside.
Vegetable and animal edible oils (except sesame oil)
(1) Weigh 1.0±0.05g oil sample into a suitable container, add 1mL dichloromethane and 2mL sample extraction solution and shake for 1min;
(2)4000rpm, centrifuge for 1min;
(3) Take 1mL of the upper liquid, add 0.25mL of reagent A and 2mL of n-hexane and shake for 1min;
(4) Take 1mL of upper n-hexane and blow dry, and add 0.1mL sample diluent to redissolve
Dilution ratio: 0.4
Sesame oil
(1) Weigh 0.5±0.05g oil sample into a suitable container, add 1mL dichloromethane and 2mL sample extraction solution and shake for 1min;
(2)4000rpm, centrifuge for 1min;
(3) Take 1mL of the upper liquid, add 0.25mL of reagent A and 2mL of n-hexane and shake for 1min;
(4) Take 1mL of upper n-hexane and blow dry, and add 0.1mL sample diluent to redissolve
