Low Shrinkage Liquid Silicone Rubber For High Detail Sculpture And Craft Molds
Low shrinkage liquid silicone rubber for high detail sculpture and craft molds
Description of Tin Cure Silicone Rubber
Application of Tin Cure Silicone Rubber
Tin cure silicone rubber is industrial-grade liquid silicone for mold making, widely used for molding and reproduction of construction decoration products such as large cultural stones, gypsum parts, cement products, artificial stones, Roman columns, stone carvings and furniture decorations. It is also ideal for making resin crafts, plaster crafts, soap molds, tire turning molds, various segmented molds, relief products and craft art replicas.
Feature of Tin Cure Silicone Rubber
1. Strong tear resistance, high and low temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and aging resistance;

- Curing Time: 3–6 hours (25℃)
Feature of Tin Cure Silicone Rubber
- High tear strength, good toughness, resistant to high and low temperature, acid and alkali corrosion, anti-aging, long service life.
- Good fluidity, easy defoaming, excellent demolding performance, clear pattern reproduction without whitish.
- Low linear shrinkage, high dimensional stability, can replicate fine details perfectly.
- Reusable for many times of mold flipping, cost-effective for mass production.
- Hardness, color, viscosity, operating time and curing speed can be customized as customer needs.
Attention
- After mixing at a ratio of 100:2, the operating time is about 30–40 minutes at room temperature, and fully cures in 3–6 hours. For best performance, it is recommended to leave the mold for 24 hours before use.
- Strictly follow the mixing ratio of 100 parts base rubber to 2–3 parts curing agent. Do not increase or reduce the curing agent dosage at will to avoid incomplete curing or performance reduction.
- Stir the mixture evenly and conduct vacuum defoaming to ensure smooth and bubble-free molds.
- Avoid contact with tin-contaminated materials, sulfur, phosphorus and nitrogen compounds during use, which may cause curing inhibition.
- Store in a cool and dry place, sealed and avoid direct sunlight. Stir evenly before use if stratification occurs.
