- Safe Encapsulation: Non-corrosive, zero-byproduct cure with negligible shrinkage.
- Shock Absorption: High-flexibility rubber protects components from severe thermal cycling and impact.
- Weatherproof Seal: Industrial-grade moisture resistance and anti-aging durability.
Product Applications for silicone potting compound:
1. Automotive & Electric Vehicles (EV)
2. Power Electronics & Supplies
3. Industrial Automation & Aerospace
4. Consumer Electronics & Appliances
How to use silicone potting compound:
Method 1: Manual Potting
- Preparation: Thoroughly clean and degrease the surface of the components.
- Mixing: Weigh Part A and Part B accurately at a 1:1 ratio into a clean container. Blend thoroughly using a clean stirring tool.
- Degassing (Optional): Place the mixed compound into a vacuum chamber to remove trapped air bubbles.
- Pouring & Curing: Pour the mixture into the components. Tip: For extra-large volumes, pour in multi-stage layers. Allow to cure at room temperature (4–12 hours) or accelerate via heat (80°C for 30 minutes).
- Automated Production Lines
- Pre-Degassing: Prior to dispensing, vacuum-degas Part A and Part B separately in their respective tanks for 5–10 minutes to eliminate air bubbles.
- Metering & Dispensing: Use a precise automated metering pump to deliver Parts A and B into a static mixer at the correct ratio.
- Potting: Inject the uniformly blended silicone directly onto the production line components
