Product Description

RTV2 Condensation Cure Liquid Silicone Rubber Strong Fluidity High Temperature Resistant For Plaster Casting Molds

Description of Tin Cure Silicone Rubber

Tin-cure liquid silicone rubber, or condensation-cure silicone rubber, is supplied as a two-part A+B system with a standard mixing ratio of 100:2 by weight. It undergoes vulcanization at ambient temperature, hence the name RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanizing) silicone rubber.

Application

HN-620 A/B is industrial-grade liquid silicone rubber specially developed for construction mold production.

It is applicable to mold making and replication of large stone pieces, gypsum & cement components, cultural stone, artificial stone, Roman columns, stone carvings and other architectural & decorative materials.

Additionally, it can be used for split molds of resin crafts, gypsum artworks, handmade soap, tire casting molds and more.

Feature

1. Strong tear resistance, high and low temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and aging resistance;

2. Good fluidity, easy to release foam, easy to demould, and the finished product will not turn white;
3. The silicone mold can be turned over frequently and has a long service life;
4. The linear shrinkage rate is less than two thousandths;
5. Product color, hardness, viscosity, and operating time can be adjusted as needed.

Method of Application:

1. Shake Part B curing agent thoroughly before use. Weigh Part A and Part B at a mixing ratio of 100:2, then stir uniformly. Scrape the bottom and inner sides of the mixing container completely to achieve full blending of silicone and curing agent. Uneven mixing will shorten the service life of finished silicone molds.

2. Subject the blended compound to vacuum deaeration; avoid over-extended vacuuming, with a recommended duration of no more than 10 minutes.

3. Full room-temperature curing takes approximately 4 hours. Heating is not required for vulcanization. If thermal acceleration is necessary, keep the temperature below 100°C. For optimal mold performance, allow a full 24-hour post-curing rest before demolding or application.
