Product Description

Shenzhen Factory Direct Custom OEM High Tear Strength Platinum Cure Silicone Rubber (40 Shore A)

Hanast is a Shenzhen-based direct factory manufacturer of high tear strength platinum cure silicone rubber, developed for GRC (Glassfiber Reinforced Concrete) and architectural concrete molds. With a 1:1 equal-part mixing ratio, good tear strength and ultra-low shrinkage of ≤0.1%, it delivers precise reproduction and long mold life for large-scale casting projects — supplied as model HN-E640 with full custom OEM/ODM support and bulk wholesale capacity.

High tear strength platinum cure silicone rubber 40 Shore A

Key Features

  • High performance for GRC & concrete – 40 Shore A firm grade with good tear strength for repeated demolding cycles, reducing mold replacement frequency.
  • Custom OEM / ODM formulations – Full E-Series 0–60 Shore A hardness range with custom viscosity and colour to match specific projects and private-label branding.
  • Shenzhen factory direct supply – 40,000 m² production base with multi-ton batch capacity and B2B wholesale/export support.
  • 1:1 simple mixing ratio – Suits manual pouring and automated dispensing in industrial production.
  • Ultra-low shrinkage ≤0.1% – Preserves fine surface details of cultural stone, architectural panels and decorative ornaments.
  • Addition cure (platinum) – No by-products, RoHS and REACH compliant, with MSDS and TDS documentation for export markets.
  • Food-grade safety – Non-toxic, odourless and non-corrosive; stable from −50°C to 200°C with no low-molecule release during cure.

Mixing & Application

  1. Pre-mix: stir Components A and B thoroughly before use.
  2. Weigh A and B at exactly 1:1 by weight using a precision scale.
  3. Mix thoroughly for 2-3 minutes, scraping the container walls and bottom.
  4. Degas under vacuum for bubble-free molds.
  5. Pour within the 30-40 min pot life; ensure full coverage.
  6. Cure at room temperature for 3-4 h, or heat at 80-100°C for ≤20 min; demold after full cure.

FAQ

1. Q: What is the mixing ratio and how do I use this platinum-cure silicone?

A: Mix Component A and Component B in a 1:1 ratio by weight. Stir each part before use, then mix A+B thoroughly for 2-3 minutes, scraping the container walls and bottom. For bubble-free molds, vacuum-degas the mix, pour within the 30-40 minute pot life, and cure at room temperature for 3-4 hours — or heat at 80-100°C for about 20 minutes for faster demolding.

2. Q: Which hardness grade should I choose?

A: The HN-E6XX series offers eleven grades from Shore A 0 to 60, all sharing the same 1:1 mix ratio, 30-40 minute pot life and 3-4 hour room-temperature cure. This listing is HN-E640 (40 Shore A) for GRC and architectural concrete molds; softer grades (E600-E620) suit food, jewellery and delicate crafts, while harder grades (E645-E650) suit the firmest rigid and high-wear molds. Custom hardness, viscosity and colour are available.

3. Q: Why might the silicone fail to cure, and how can I prevent it?

A: Addition-cure (platinum) silicone can be inhibited by organotin compounds, sulfur/polysulfide, amines, polyurethane, phosphorus compounds, organic acids and solder-flux residues. Always use clean, dry substrates, tools and containers, avoid contact with tin-cure silicone residue, and do not add colourants or fillers before testing, as they may deactivate the platinum catalyst.

4. Q: Is it food-grade and safe? What temperature can it withstand?

A: Yes. It is non-toxic, odourless and non-corrosive, certified to FDA, MSDS and RoHS, with excellent physiological inertness. The cured rubber is stable from −50°C to 200°C with very low shrinkage (≤0.1%) and no low-molecule release during cure, making it suitable for food, medical, craft and composite-mold applications.

5. Q: What are the MOQ, packaging, shelf life and delivery?

A: MOQ starts at 20 kg. Standard packaging is 10/20/25 kg drums, or 20/40/50 kg kits (A+B), with MSDS and TDS documentation included. Shelf life is 12 months when stored sealed below 25°C. Lead time is about 3-5 days for samples and 10-15 days for bulk/OEM orders; custom OEM/ODM formulations and wholesale bulk pricing are available — contact us for details.
