Product Description

2S 7.7V 2400mAh LiHV Battery Pack, 18.48Wh High Voltage LiPo for FPV Drones, Tiny Whoop & Micro RC Models, Charge to 8.8V

Features

  • High-Voltage (LiHV) Advantage: The 7.7V nominal (8.8V charge) platform provides a significantly higher voltage curve compared to standard 2S 7.4V packs, translating to more power, faster response, and greater efficiency in compatible devices.
  • Optimized Energy Density (18.48Wh): Offers an excellent balance of capacity and size, delivering extended runtimes for its compact class, ideal for prolonging flight or operation time.
  • High Discharge Capability: Designed to support very high continuous discharge rates (C-rating dependent), enabling exceptional burst power for demanding applications like drone acrobatics or high-torque starts in RC vehicles.
  • Enhanced Performance: The LiHV chemistry can offer higher power output and potentially less voltage sag under load compared to standard LiPo counterparts of similar size.

Applications

  • High-Performance Micro/Mini Drones: FPV Tiny Whoops, micro racing quadcopters (2S builds), and lightweight freestyle drones requiring a power boost over standard 2S packs.
  • Portable High-Power Devices: Compact handheld gimbals, powerful LED flashlights, portable speakers, and advanced DIY electronics projects needing a stable, high-voltage source.
  • Miniature Robotics & Tech: Power for small robotic platforms, drones, or custom tech prototypes where space and weight are severely constrained but performance cannot be compromised.

Warnings & Precautions

Charging

  • LiHV-Specific Charger Required: YOU MUST use a balance charger that explicitly supports LiHV (High Voltage LiPo) or "4.40V per cell" chemistry.
  • Active Supervision & Environment: NEVER CHARGE UNATTENDED. Charge in/on a fireproof container (LiPo bag, ceramic plate), away from combustibles.
  • Post-Impact Check: After any crash or physical shock, do not charge until a thorough inspection confirms no damage.

Discharging

  • Voltage Monitoring is Essential: Use a low-voltage alarm or ensure your device's cut-off is set to no lower than 6.0V. Over-discharge (<3.0V/cell) permanently damages cells and creates a severe fire risk.
  • Respect Temperature & Current Limits: Feel the battery during use. Stop if it becomes hot (>60°C). Never exceed the manufacturer's stated Max. Continuous Discharge Current.
  • Prevent Short Circuits: Always cap or tape terminals when not in use. Exercise extreme caution when making connections to prevent the leads from touching.
  • Immediate Damage Protocol: Inspect for swelling, punctures, or odor before/after use. ISOLATE and SAFELY DISPOSE OF any damaged battery. DO NOT USE.

Storage

  • Storage Preparation: For storage >3 days, use your charger's LiHV Storage function to bring the pack to ~7.6V (3.8V/cell). Never store fully charged or fully depleted.
  • Safe Transport: During transit, place each battery in an individual LiPo safety bag with terminals insulated.
