Industry‑wide known as the swing gearbox, the swing reducer for excavators is an indispensable transmission component linking the slewing motor to the large slewing gear ring. It mainly performs speed reduction and torque increase functions, making the upper machine framework rotate smoothly for a full 360 degrees.
Critical Structural Makeup Elements
Sun Gear: Connected with splines of the slewing motor unit, receiving high‑speed power input supply energy.
Planet Gears: Each stage has 3‑4 gears, orbiting around and self‑rotating on the sun gear for torque delivery transmission.
Ring Gear: Mounted fixed rigidly to the housing casing and meshes with planet gear assembly groups.
Planet Carrier: Delivers output driving power to drive the lower small driving gear wheel component.
