• Serving as the master switch and flow‑distribution manifold, the excavator main control valve (main/multi‑way valve) is the central control station for all working movements: boom elevation, arm retraction, bucket digging, slewing and forward‑reverse chassis travel.
  Functions
  High‑pressure hydraulic oil output from the main pump enters the main control valve assembly.Pilot oil drives individual spools upon manipulation of the control handle.Precise flow allocation of high‑pressure oil to cylinders and motors:Boom cylinder – boom lifting and loweringArm cylinder – arm extending and retractingBucket cylinder – bucket opening and closingSwing motor – machine slewing rotationTravel motor – forward and reverse movement
  Common Faults & Troubleshooting
  Low‑power or slow‑speed performance: Inadequate relief‑valve pressure, spool wear‑induced internal leakage, jammed negative‑flow/LS valves. Measure system pressure, disassemble and check spools, clean valve components.
  Fluctuating/uneven operation: Marked spools, fatigued springs, variable pilot pressure. Polish or replace spools and springs, calibrate pilot pressure values.
  Hydraulic oil leakage: Aged sealing components, valve body fissures. Renew seals; repair cracks via welding or replace the valve body.
  Unsynchronized combined motions: Blocked flow‑merging valves, malfunctioning load check valves. Clean merging valves and test check‑valve sealing quality.
