  4. Installation & Maintenance Notes

  
  

  • Used for overhauling leaking or worn telescopic boom cylinders on Boomer drill rigs.
  • Replace all seals in the kit at the same time; do not mix old and new seals.
  • Clean cylinder barrel, piston and gland thoroughly before installation to avoid scratching new seals.
  • Lubricate seals with clean hydraulic oil during assembly; avoid sharp edges.
  • After installation, test cylinder for leaks under low pressure first, then gradually increase to working pressure.
