12420020 is standard size crankshaft main bearing shell, applied to DEUTZ MWM TBG620 V16(6002) gas engine, a key moving component of 620 series.

2. Function & Application
It supports the crankshaft, bears combustion load and reduces running friction to ensure stable operation at 1500 rpm. Widely used in CHP, natural gas and biogas power generation units. Recommended for replacement during major overhaul every 8000–10000 operating hours.
3. Installation & Maintenance
- Fitting Clearance: 0.18–0.25 mm
- Installation: Place the oil groove side towards the crankshaft and align locating tabs to prevent displacement
- Common Defects: Alloy layer peeling, bearing seizure and excessive wear. Inspect roundness and surface condition of main journal during replacement
- Lubrication: Use original MWM SAE 40 special oil for gas engines. Normal operating oil pressure: 4–6 bar
4. Ordering Notes
Please confirm the engine model before ordering. This part is interchangeable with 12420022. Do not confuse main bearing with connecting rod bearing 12420024. Original parts are marked with MWM laser logo. Material certificates and dimensional inspection reports are required for aftermarket products.
