Fully remove old gasket residue, carbon deposit and rust; flange flatness ≤0.06 mm;
Tighten bolts diagonally in 3 stages:

Pre-torque:40 N·m → Intermediate torque:75 N·m → Final torque:110～120 N·m
Retighten final torque after 2 hours cold startup operation;
Do not apply liquid sealant, excess glue causes over-compression and gasket extrusion;
Replace with new gasket unconditionally once manifold is disassembled; reuse prohibited.

Replace gasket 12420484 if any issue occurs:

Graphite layer burnt, steel layer perforated, delamination or flattened sealing beads;
Audible exhaust hissing, local flange overheating and red hot;
Individual cylinder exhaust temperature abnormal, power derate and frequent unit alarms;
