- Good ductility, reliable weldability without sensitization risk under thermal cycling
- Retain stable mechanical performance from cryogenic to 1093°C high temperature
- Custom hot forging, hot rolling and full CNC precision machining per customer CAD drawings
- Manufactured strictly complying with ASTM B166, ASTM B167 international alloy standards
- Long service life for nuclear, chemical and high-temperature furnace equipment
This series of Inconel 690 round bars are hot forged & hot rolled solid high-chromium nickel alloy rods. After complete solution annealing and stress relief heat treatment, the material forms uniform single-phase austenite grain structure with stable dimensional tolerance and exceptional high-temperature & anti-corrosion performance.
Inconel 690 is a high-Cr nickel alloy specially developed for nuclear power and strong oxidizing acid service. Its ultra-high chromium content forms dense self-repairing Cr₂O₃ protective film, far surpassing Inconel 600 in anti-SCC and high-temperature oxidation resistance. It is the standard designated material for nuclear steam generator components, and widely applied in nitric acid chemical production, waste incineration and high-temperature sulfur-containing furnace equipment.
- High chromium nickel base alloy with 27.0–31.0% Cr, minimum 58% nickel base matrix
- Excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in high-temperature pure water & concentrated caustic soda
- Top-tier anti-oxidation and anti-sulfidation capacity under high-temperature oxidizing atmosphere
- Stable service in nitric acid, mixed nitric-hydrofluoric acid and radioactive waste treatment media
- No carbide precipitation after long-time heating, excellent intergranular corrosion resistance
- Good hot & cold machinability, stable mechanical property at ultra-low to ultra-high temperature
