Ferritic Hollow Rod 430/444/409
This series of ferritic seamless hollow rods are produced by hot extrusion + cold drawing forming process, fully annealed after forming to obtain soft single ferritic microstructure without austenite phase. Without expensive nickel element, the raw material cost is significantly lower than nickel-containing stainless steel.
Three grades cover diversified working scenarios: 409 is optimized for automobile exhaust high-temperature pipeline; 430 serves household appliances, architectural decoration and mild corrosion equipment; molybdenum-alloyed 444 solves freshwater, solar heat exchanger chloride pitting problems that ordinary ferritic steel cannot handle. Seamless hollow rod eliminates heavy deep boring processing of solid bar, widely used in auto exhaust pipes, solar water heater heat exchange tubes, HVAC equipment blanks, household appliance hollow structural parts and light chemical pipeline components.
Low chromium titanium-stabilized ferritic steel, excellent anti-oxidation performance at exhaust working temperature, good thermal fatigue resistance, low price, ideal blank for automotive exhaust manifolds, EGR tubular fittings and muffler support hollow rods.
17Cr universal ferritic grade, good atmospheric corrosion resistance and mirror polishing performance, stable in dry environment, suitable for home appliance frame, decorative tubular parts and low-temperature heating equipment hollow blanks.
Molybdenum & titanium dual stabilized ferritic stainless steel. High PRE value greatly improves chloride pitting resistance, resistant to warm water brine, perfect for solar heat exchanger, desalination small pipeline and water treatment equipment hollow rod stock.

- Nickel-Free Cost Advantage
Zero nickel alloy composition greatly reduces raw material cost, ideal for mass-production exhaust & household tubular products. - Superior Thermal Performance
Higher thermal conductivity, lower thermal expansion coefficient than austenitic steel, less thermal deformation under cyclic heating heat exchange equipment. - Anti-Chloride SCC Characteristic
Ferritic matrix avoids stress corrosion cracking failure in warm brine, which is a common defect of 304 stainless hollow tube. - Grade Targeted Corrosion Matching
409 for high-temp exhaust; 430 for decoration & appliances; 444 for freshwater/chloride medium, one-stop grade selection. - Good Machinability After Annealing
