- Custom OD, ID, height & full CNC turning, boring, grooving per customer CAD/PDF drawings
This series martensitic stainless steel forged rings are produced via open-die forging and seamless radial ring rolling process. All martensite grades are supplied in full annealed soft state for easy CNC machining; customers can perform custom quenching & tempering to target hardness levels.
No expensive nickel element in base formula, greatly cutting procurement cost compared to 304/316L austenitic steel. Different carbon & nickel contents create tiered performance: low-carbon 410 for light-load equipment; medium-carbon 420 for tool & mold rings; nickel-containing 431 for high-toughness pressure parts; high-carbon molybdenum 440C for ultra-wear bearing and measuring fixture forgings. Seamless ring blank eliminates heavy deep boring of solid bar, widely machined into valve flanges, mold holder rings, bearing retainers and mechanical sealing annular components for machinery, mold, hydraulic and hardware industries.
Basic 13% chromium low-carbon martensite. Soft after annealing, good machinability; moderate hardness after quenching, suitable for general valve, pump and low-load mechanical ring forgings with dry atmospheric service.
Medium chromium & medium carbon martensite. Higher hardening capacity than 410; balanced wear & mild anti-rust performance, ideal kitchen hardware, mold and medical equipment annular parts.
Nickel-modified martensitic stainless steel. Extra nickel boosts toughness and anti-corrosion capacity, avoids brittle failure under cyclic load for high-strength hydraulic & pressure vessel rings.
Highest carbon martensite with molybdenum additive. Reaches extreme hardness after quenching, outstanding abrasion resistance; premium blank for precision bearings, gauges and heavy wear mold rings.
