This series 430 ferritic stainless steel solid axles are produced via hot rolling + cold drawing forming process, followed by full air annealing to form uniform single ferritic microstructure. Without expensive nickel elements, 430 axles deliver obvious cost advantages compared to nickel-containing stainless axles.
430 is the most universal standard ferritic stainless grade. It features stable anti-rust performance in air and fresh water, excellent polishing capability, and avoids SCC failure that frequently occurs on austenitic steel in warm brine. This material cannot be hardened by quenching or aging treatment, and the annealed soft state is the standard delivery condition for all machining processes. Widely processed into fan axles, conveyor roller shafts, household equipment transmission axles, decorative rotary spindles and light vehicle auxiliary axles for home appliance, HVAC, light machinery and architectural decoration industries.
