Door
The MD-1.5Y range can be supplied with either single or double (pass-through) doors, and are of the automatic horizontal sliding type. All door configurations include limit switches to detect when the doors are fully open or fully closed, and prevent the doors from being opened until the pressure within the chamber is within safe limits.
Vacuum System
Vacuum is created by means of either a liquid ring vacuum pump, or a water ejector driven by a centrifugal pump. Liquid ring vacuum pumps are fitted with a high efficiency tube condenser between the chamber drain and the pump to prevent overheating and cavitation of the pump, and resulting in a long service life. Each autoclave is fitted with a recirculating water conservation system. This reduces water consumption by the vacuum and condenser system by up to 80%.
