PS Wiper Seals for Plunger Pumps: Secondary Sealing and Packing Assembly Fit
The PS wiper seal enquiry concerns a secondary component in a plunger pump packing assembly. Its position and function must follow the pump drawing: a wiper or lubrication-retaining component should not be specified as the sole primary pressure packing. The header rings, packing rings and O-rings described above are related assembly components and must be ordered separately unless an agreed parts list includes them.
Provide the pump model, plunger diameter, wiper inside and outside diameters, axial height and lip profile. Confirm the fabric construction and any elastomer or binder specification with the approved part drawing. The material families listed in the overview are options for review, not the confirmed composition of one PS wiper seal.
Include the pumped fluid, lubrication system, stroke and operating speed, solids content and temperature with the enquiry. Cementing, acidizing, fracturing and CO2 duties require review of the selected complete packing system. For a redress order, state the quantity per pump and whether the quotation covers individual wipers or a complete packing set; do not use the nominal assembly size alone to select a replacement.
