Custom Flat Rubber Pipe Wipers for Drilling and Swabbing Operations
Drill Pipe Wipers in the following types:

Oval Drill Pipe Wiper
Specify standard, split, flex or oval construction using the mounting arrangement and pipe dimensions. Custom profiles require a dimensioned drawing.
| Size: | Pipe/tubing size references: 5, 3-1/2, 2-3/8 and 2-5/8 inches. Confirm actual pipe OD, tool-joint OD, wiping opening, overall dimensions and thickness. |
| Material: | NBR (Buna-N) or natural rubber: specify compound grade and hardness for the mud exposure. Other polymers require separate application review. |
| Types: | Standard drill pipe wipers/split drill pipe wipers/flex drill pipe wipers and oval drill pipe wipers |
Select the rubber compound using drilling-fluid composition, temperature, pipe speed and expected cutting, tearing and abrasion exposure. Water-based and oil-based muds require separate compatibility review; provide test or acceptance requirements for the specified compound.
Pipe Wipers functions:
- Wiping fluids and debris from the outside of drilling or swabbing pipe during withdrawal
- Covering the surrounding opening within the specified mounting arrangement; confirm the equipment dimensions
- Helping limit fluid spillage when properly fitted and maintained
- Helping restrict debris entry; the wiper does not replace well-control or pressure-containment equipment
- Optional molded-in steel support ring to the approved drawing; specify reinforcement separately
