NBR 80 Shore A Rubber-to-Metal Ball Retaining Plugs for Swivel Joints
Buna-N (NBR) 80 Shore A nominal rubber-to-metal ball retaining plugs are specified for the matching swivel-joint ball-loading port. Confirm plug dimensions, metal insert grade, retention arrangement and the equipment drawing. Any 10,000 or 15,000 psi requirement must be verified for the complete swivel assembly; the plug material alone does not establish a pressure rating.
Nominal swivel-joint connection sizes: 1.5, 2, 3 and 4 inches; select the plug using actual port and ball dimensions.
Material: NBR (Buna-N), 80 Shore A nominal, bonded to specified metal insert; hardness tolerance and metal grade to drawing.
