SHQN supplies standard, metric and drawing-defined O-rings. This green O-ring enquiry combines a specified colour with an approved NBR, HNBR or silicone compound for the actual oil and gas equipment duty.
Confirm the inner diameter, cross-section, tolerance and manufacturing method for each requested size.
Stock standard materials include fluorocarbon, NBR, EPDM and Silicone. 

Application of the rubber o ring:

Green O-Ring Procurement: Link the Colour to a Part Number and Compound

Green can support identification during assembly and maintenance when the customer assigns it to an approved part. Specify the colour reference or accepted sample together with the part number, compound and drawing revision. Green colour alone does not identify NBR, HNBR or silicone and does not establish oil resistance.

State the inner diameter and cross-section, dimensional tolerances and applicable size reference. Provide groove dimensions and static or moving service details for a custom design. Keep similarly sized rings with different compounds or hardness values on separate order lines to support correct installation.

For oil and gas equipment, include the actual fluid formulation, cleaning agents, temperature cycle and gas exposure in the material review. Approve the colour and sealing compound on the same sample specification. Confirm any required inspection, batch identification and material compliance documents before production approval.
