MV swab cup and other profile options:
TA style: TA is a medium load Swab Cup built around a steel or aluminum bushing for use in most sizes of tubing or drill pipe. When under load, it will compress to form a solid rubber mass for maximum lifting capacity and minimum wear. Select the TA compound and profile for the fluid, temperature and load.
MV style: Shanghai Qinuo offers MV profile swab cups with nitrile or other specified rubber compounds. The cup has either an aluminum or steel bushing with multiple upturned lips which allows it to pass through tight spots and control the amount of load. For fluids with suspended sand, assess solids content and wear when selecting the compound and cup profile.
V style: Shanghai Qinuo carries the V Series Swab Cup in a light duty and heavy duty all rubber cup that is suited for use in fluids with high concentrations of suspended sand. The upturned lips pass easily through tight spots and will invert to dump excessive loads. The number of cups used will vary with conditions.

MV Multi-Lip Swab Cup: Lip Wear and Replacement Matching

When replacing an MV swab cup, compare the full multi-lip profile: lip count, spacing, outside diameter, overall height and mounting bore. The 2-3/8, 2-7/8 and 3-1/2 inch catalogue references are not a complete dimensional specification. Provide the actual tubing bore, restrictions and mandrel drawing for fit confirmation.

Check each lip for cuts, uneven wear or permanent distortion after use. Sand-laden fluid and damaged tubing can affect lip wear; describe these conditions when requesting a replacement compound. Color alone does not identify the rubber grade, hardness or fluid compatibility.
