Hammer Union Seal Replacement Introduction
Hammer union seals are replacement elastomeric sealing components for specified union connections on oilfield pipework. Match the union figure, manufacturer and nominal size to the seal drawing before ordering. NBR, HNBR and FKM options require compound selection for the actual fluid and service conditions. The complete connection determines the operating rating.

For a Weco union seal enquiry, provide the exact equipment reference, union figure and nominal connection size with an approved drawing or unused sample. A trade name or figure number alone is insufficient to establish interchangeability. Confirm the seal profile, compound, hardness and any brass or stainless steel anti-extrusion backing shown in the table. Keep Figure 206 O-ring references separate from shaped union seals and verify their groove dimensions. Include quantities by part reference and state the fluid, temperature and pressure so the proposed replacement can be reviewed against the complete assembly.
