Customizable Color NBR FKM HNBR Hammer Union Seal for High Pressure Oil and Gas Pipelines
Product Introduction
Custom-colour hammer union replacement seals are specified in NBR, HNBR or FKM for the identified oilfield connection. Agree the required colour separately from compound grade, hardness and seal geometry. Colour can support an agreed spare-parts identification scheme, but it does not establish material composition, temperature limit, pressure rating or compatibility with a particular union figure.
Product Specification
1. Pressure specification: Confirm working pressure and testing for the complete identified union assembly. Custom colour and rubber compound name do not establish a standalone seal pressure rating.
2. Compound selection: Provide fluid composition, additives and normal and peak temperatures for NBR, HNBR or FKM review. Sour-gas or H2S use requires qualified compound and equipment specifications.
3. Replacement fit: Match the ring dimensions, lip section and any backing to the union manufacturer drawing. Inspect the sealing recess and follow the equipment installation procedure.
4. Colour specification: Provide the agreed colour reference or approved sample with the part number and quantity. Each nominal size and figure requires separately confirmed geometry and compound specification.
5. Order identification: Specify manufacturer, figure, nominal size, actual ring dimensions, compound grade, Shore A hardness, backing and colour. Figure 206 AS568 O-ring entries in the catalogue do not define other lip-seal profiles.
