Application
Application of the rubber o ring:
A: Soft-seal assemblies: provide groove depth and width, mating surfaces and the intended compression to evaluate the selected silicone hardness.
B: Color identification: agree a color reference for each ordered size or assembly position. Color alone does not establish hardness or fluid compatibility.
C: Service selection: identify temperature, fluid, cleaning agents, pressure and movement. Softness alone does not establish suitability for the operating conditions.
