For oil and gas drilling flowline maintenance, nominal 2-inch Figure 607 hammer union seals are ordered as matched replacement rings in NBR or FKM. Identify the connection manufacturer and part number, then confirm the seal lip section, overall height and inside and outside diameters. Specify any backing arrangement from the actual union drawing rather than selecting on nominal size alone.
For a hot-oil duty enquiry, provide the oil and additive composition, continuous temperature, peak temperature and exposure duration. Select the NBR or FKM grade and Shore A hardness for those conditions. Hot-oil compatibility does not establish suitability for every drilling fluid, water mixture or gas exposure.
