Cable Gland Shroud Orders: Match the Boot to the Gland Body and Cable
Provide cable outside diameter, gland body diameter, boot entry and exit dimensions, overall length, wall thickness and installation clearance. Identify what the old 1-30 mm size reference describes; it is not a complete boot drawing.
Select NBR or HNBR grade against oil, cleaning fluids, weather exposure and continuous or peak temperature. Confirm the old 40-70D hardness reference and test scale for the rubber compound before supply.
The push-on shroud helps limit dirt accumulation around the gland. Waterproof, ingress-protection, electrical, flame or hazardous-area ratings require the specified complete assembly and applicable test evidence; the boot alone does not establish these ratings.
