1 * 2 Inch FIG 1502 Plug Valve Soft Kit — Seal Replacement and Operating Torque Review

Applications:

This 1 * 2 inch FIG 1502 plug valve soft kit is selected for replacement of the identified valve’s soft components. Provide the manufacturer, valve series and parts list so the seal profiles and quantities can be matched to that assembly.

When a valve becomes difficult to operate or shows leakage, inspect both the soft seals and mating metal surfaces. Replacement seal selection should include groove dimensions, material condition and the manufacturer’s lubrication requirements. A soft kit alone does not establish a guaranteed operating torque.
