For oilfield plug valve repair kits, identify the valve manufacturer, series and figure designation, then match each seal profile to its drawing. Brass and stainless-steel backing are separate construction options; specify the metal grade, dimensions and component position.
Select the elastomer compound using fluid formulation, additives, temperature and pressure cycles. Include metal backing geometry and any bonding requirements in the component drawing. A kit may contain backed seals and unbacked rings, so agree the full parts list and quantities before ordering.
