Swivel Joint Seal Repair Kit for Drawing-Based Component Selection
Royal Way swivel joint repair kits are selected from the actual assembly reference and component drawings. For a maintenance order, provide the joint manufacturer, model and nominal size, then identify seals and hardware individually. Normal 2-inch, 3-inch SPM and 4-inch configurations need separate fit checks; reference pictures of different kits do not establish compatibility.
For an HNBR seal option, provide the operating fluid, temperature range and pressure cycles for compound selection. Confirm hardness and component dimensions against the approved seal drawing; material choice alone does not establish an assembled joint pressure rating.
For maintenance, inspect sealing surfaces, bearing tracks and retaining grooves before installing replacement components. Follow the equipment procedure for assembly, lubrication and testing.
NBR, HNBR, EPDM and silicone are available material options for different service conditions. Confirm the approved compound for each component and record it on the kit bill of materials.
