Product Specification

Hammer union seal enquiries for Figures 602, 1002 and 1502 require the union manufacturer, nominal size and ring drawing. The catalogue below lists NBR/Buna, FKM and HSN material references with brass or stainless anti-extrusion options for selected entries. Identify each seal and backing combination separately before placing a replacement order.

1. Pressure Resistance: Figures 602, 1002 and 1502 identify union configurations. Working pressure and testing must follow the complete identified assembly; a replacement seal has no independent assembly pressure rating.

2. Corrosion Resistance: Choose the specified NBR, HNBR or FKM compound against fluid composition, additives and operating temperature. Sour-gas service requires compound-specific qualification.

3. Ease of Installation: Confirm the seal recess, lip section and backing arrangement before installation. Follow the union manufacturer's inspection and replacement procedure.

4. Variety of Sizes and Materials: Specify the nominal size and figure together with ring ID, OD, section and backing arrangement. Figure 206 AS568 O-ring references are separate parts; confirm their gland dimensions and compound grade.

5. Safety: Provide maximum working pressure, temperature, fluid and pressure-cycle conditions for part selection. Inspect the complete union and carry out the required assembly test before returning it to service.

V style: Shanghai Qinuo carries the V Series Swab Cup in a light duty and heavy duty all rubber cup that is suited for use in fluids with high concentrations of suspended sand. The upturned lips pass easily through tight spots and will invert to dump excessive loads. The number of cups used will vary with conditions.

TUF style: The design of the GE-TUF cup, with its internal metal reinforcement which maintains the shape of the cup, makes this an excellent choice for deep hot wells or rough and corroded tubing and casing. Strong enough for heavy loads, its flexability also allows it to work in light load situations.

NUF style: The GE-NUF is a heavy load all rubber cup that provides maximum lifting capacity. Bonded to either standard steel or aluminum bushings, and available in a wide range of sizes, this cup is a good choice for deep well applications.
