For a custom molded element, provide inside diameter, outside diameter and height or thickness with tolerances. Include mounting and support geometry, drawing revision and material specification. A round packer element is not automatically an O-ring; confirm the cross-section on the drawing.
Approve the proposed geometry and compound before production. Define sample inspection, dimensional acceptance and required material or assembly tests so that the supplied parts can be checked against the agreed specification.
