AS568 O-rings are specified by the dash number and corresponding dimensions. Confirm the inside diameter and cross-section against the selected size standard and groove drawing.

Specify the supplied compound grade and hardness for fluid, temperature and movement. Silicone, NBR, FKM and EPDM are separate material options with grade-specific requirements.

O-ring pressure acceptance depends on the complete groove, clearance, support arrangement, compound and duty. A tensile value does not establish an independent sealing-pressure rating.
