Hammer union seals are used in the connections between flexible hoses or pipes used in the oil drilling industry. The seal provides a critical fluid tight connection within the union hardware. Hammer unions consist of a thread end, a nut end, and a hammer nut that when tightened seal the assembly with the assistance of an elastomeric seal. The seal is lipped to prevent it from falling out when inverted. Some profiles such as Fig 1502, Fig 602, Fig 1002 , Fig 607 etc require a Hammer Union Lip Seal or an 'O'Ring depending on the Size of the Hammer Union. We produce 2",3", and 4" Hammer Union Seals in Nitrile for standard service and in FKM or HNBR grade subject to sour-service qualification. In addition to the standard molded rubber seals, we offer these with either a brass or stainless steel anti-extrusion ring.

Application:
1.Oil and Gas: Used extensively in drilling, fracturing, and production operations. They connect flow lines, choke and kill lines, and other high-pressure lines.

Material Introduction
For oil-drilling connections, choose the seal by the existing union figure, nominal size and fluid duty. NBR, HNBR and FKM are compound families rather than interchangeable performance grades. PTFE is a thermoplastic and requires its own profile and construction review.

We can supply the sample if we have ready parts in stock, but customized parts have to pay the mold fee.

Yes, we can produce by your samples or technical drawings. We can build the molds and fixtures.

If the good are in stock generally it is 5-7 working days after receiving your payment. About 7-15 working days if we have mold or 21-30 working days without mold. The specific delivery time depends on the items and quantity of your order quantity.

For sample and small order, 100% T/T or Paypal. For bulk order, T/T 30% as deposit, and 70% before delivery. We'll show you the photos of the products and packages before you pay the balance.

Oil-Drilling Union Seal Orders: Match the Operating Stage to the Material Review
Describe whether the replacement will handle drilling circulation, a transfer line or another identified operation. Include the fluid formulation, solids content, cleaning agents, temperature cycle and the complete union specification. A seal suitable for one fluid cannot be assumed suitable for every stage of drilling service.
Keep the union figure and maker reference on each order line. Record the nominal connection size separately from measured seal diameters, height and lip section. Match rubber-only, brass-backed or stainless-backed construction to the original groove and support design; similarly sized seals are not automatically interchangeable.
The attached Hammer Union Seal TDS can support discussion of the range. Confirm the revision and exact compound data for the ordered part, including hardness test scale and required inspection documentation. For gas exposure, request qualification for the specific compound and conditions. The seal alone does not establish the pressure rating of the complete connection.
